Seaweeds such as kelp and dulse have a strong meaty flavour that perfectly complements the BBQ spices, creating depth that traditional rubs simply can't match. Whether you're grilling outside in summer or slow-roasting in the over during autumn and winter, this versatile rub works beautifully on meat and vegetables alike.
Ideas for use:
- Rub generously on ribs, brisket or pork shoulder before cooking
- Season burgers (beef, lamb, chicken or plant-based) before grilling
- Coast chicken pieces before roasting or barbecuing
- Mix into mince for flavourful meatballs or burgers
- Season portobello mushrooms, cauliflower or aubergine before grilling
